“What a fabulous place! The inside was lovely. It was so peaceful and I loved coming out on the porch in the morning. The sound of traffic in the morning was much more than at night, but it still felt great to be in nature. Definitely hold on to the railings when walking back to your car in the AM. The morning dew makes the walkway slick. Also, watch for spiderwebs outside in the morning! But you are in the forest, so you should expect things like that. Overall, we were absolutely blown away by……

“If one spends time reading the novel attributed to this property, somewhere it mentions the queen bunk being only bed. Whats not mentioned, is that it's an un-engineered excuse for a ladder with parts from a plumbing section with some sheet metal screws as fastners. 6'5" 250 doesn't work and will inevitably lead to someone getting hurt. Also, I had a few questions, and after only getting a couple 'automated' responses, gave up on talking yo a human. Didn't stay second night, and nicely told……

“Very nice place, very secluded and private. Will definitely be booking again! We were able to watch the sunset from the hot tub. The host was wonderful and in constant communication answering every question I had. Great stay, and just what we needed to relax.”

“We were thrilled with the spaciousness of the unit. It was well stocked with items to keep our stay comfortable. We could park right in front of the unit. The whole development was in a gated area with staffed security. We felt very safe. It was cold and rainy when we were there, but access to the fireplace was not allowed until the following week. It would have been nice, but understandable. Our unit had a washer and dryer, so we were even able to go home with clean clothes. ”

The earplugs were a great option for keeping the late night downtown noise out when we went to bed.The only things I struggled with was not really knowing that parking was public parking on the street wherever a spot was available and having to walk around 2 blocks to the loft, and the other issue was……
