As the daily room rate was pretty fantastic for this particular Montreal event weekend, we are willing to overlook minor deficiencies. Our room had the important amenities: a good little fridge, microwave, clean towels, linen and the room service was great. There was some initial confusion with our reservation, however, the manager went out of his way to ensure that our stay was comfortable.

The overall stay experience was really good except that the bathroom toilet seemed smaller in size compared to standard ones and the bathroom sink is old, cracked with black spots on it. It was not pleasant to to have that when kids were with us as they did not know if that was safe to use. While nowadays most hotels include table lights with USB charging option, this one did not have that. We did not bring a wall charger but the staff was kind enough to lend us one. Montreal hotels are expensive as it seems because almost for rhe same price we paid here we had a hotel in Ottawa with swimming pool as well as it included breakfast. It is by a train line but interestingly when the door was shut the sound was not disturbing.

For the price you pay and it's proximity to downtown Montreal, you won't find much better if you're looking for a cheap overnight. There are some drawbacks such as thin walls and loud AC - but the room was clean, the shower was full pressure and hot. It is secluded from the road and private. The staff were friendly, incredibly helpful, and very kind! I'd stay here again.
