“Great view off the deck with a late afternoon glass of wine. When the sun went down and temps dropped we moved into the charming rustic charming great room. We particularly want to thank Hannah for moving breakfast up a half an hour, so that we could get to the UVM graduation on time. She went out of her way to give us a full breakfast, on short notice. ”

“Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We had never been to Vermont and were driving 8.5 hours to get there...i was slightly worried about the check in process as i had seen other comments that it wasnt great...and after a long trip i wanted to easily get in. The process was very smooth, and they even let us check in early! The cabin is exactly as looks online and very clean. In a campground that looks to be well.looked after. It wasnt open while we were there ans was very quiet. A few small things to note: there were no kitchen...

“The property is located outside of Stowe, about 15 mins to Stowe Mountain Resort. There are great views of the valley looking down into Stowe. The house size worked well for our party of 4 and a dog. Many thanks to Karen for being responsive and prompt to reply when the pending snow storm threatened our arrival day/time, she was a pleasure to deal with.”
