Mount Hood National Forest Tours

The views are fantastic. However, the staff left something to be desired. It took an hour and 20 minutes to check in, I got sent to multiple rooms and none of the keys worked and finally had to wait for a maintenance guy with a master key to let me in and then wait in my room for another hour for a maintenance guy to come and finally get me a working key and my fireplace wasn’t working having paid extra for a room with a fireplace. So that required a different maintenance engineer visit to get that going. You’ve gotta walk a long way with your luggage from the parking area up and down a hill with minimal lighting in the middle of the night to get to the lodge with no signs. Even during the daytime, nobody offers to help help you with your bags or provide any help or service without you seeking it out. The spa was great though, clean, good massage, great hot tub and sauna.

Nice, smaller property overlooking the bay. Nothing too fancy, and it it is good to know that there is no staff available in the evening, however overall it was a nice stay..
