The room was okay,, the first room I got put in had a shower that was not properly working. I hit moved to another room which reeked cigarettes, it had someone's possession on one of the drawer. The lady at the front desk was rude as well. I can't blame her we all have bad days,, but she had poor customer service. Other than that it wasn't bad

This place is a gem. The view alone is worth the price of admission. I’d pay just to sleep outside on the grounds.

Centrally located in downtown The Dalles, with easy freeway access, nearby restaurants, and it's own cafe; what could be better? And, the rooms are modern and clean.

Really an overall great location. Great view. Great staff. Parking was hard. Furniture is really outdated and worn but fairly clean. But in ok shape for an older beach hotel. They're just overdue for a deep cleaning. Fridge needs a defrost, it froze most of my drinks. Dog hair on the couch. Bathroom floor edges grimey. Sliding glass door tracks are unappealing. But the things that matter such as the bed, toilet and shower were clean. I will absolutely stay again, just hope they're able to invest some time into deep cleaning, it would really elevate the stay.
