Be careful with kids! Some of the railing is broken and they can fall into the water.
Excellent that the pier was right in front of San Marino Hotel
Wear sneakers or flat shoes. Lots of walking..
The 'new' pier is lovely to look at and has a nice walk around the sculpture in the center. The loading zone for the water taxis could use some work. There are a couple of very high steps to get off or on the boats.
Nice view at one end of the Malecon. There are many restaurants here. From here to go caro.
