“The gym was well appointed and very clean. We didn't go to the bar but it looked well stocked and staffed. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day and was light and airy. Good A/C and overhead fan.Nice balcony overlooking the outside dining area. The staff are amazing. ”

“This hotel was low key and quiet. Just what we needed. It’s also near the beach, restaurants and boardwalks. Highly recommend ”

“Yes except no stuff to wash dishes or wipe counters. The room with cleaning supplies only had trash bags and cleaning products not a way to wash dishes or wipe counters. But overall excellent check in service and clean friendly atmosphere ”

“Absolutely fantastic location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our particular unit wasn’t the best as the sliding glass doors opened into a window well so there wasn’t a lot of natural light. Also the pool was super small (too small to swim in). But the location was great. We did use the pool as a dip and cool off pool. The rooftop lounging area was nice too. ”

“A 15 min walk to the Malecon. The neighbourhood was definitely, off the beaten path, but we always felt safe working both day and evening. ”

“This place is amazing, it was worth more than what we paid. The beds are new, hot water, clean nice bathroom and the property is just cool. Has its own private beach and most rooms have a view of the ocean. I would stay here again in a minute. The only potential negative is the place has a lot of stairs. If you are unable to walk stairs this place isn’t for you. If you can walk stairs this place is amazing and the staff super nice.”

“I’m Solo traveller from Canada , it felt like home at Garlands, bed was so comfy !!! Staff were honest, helpful and friendly . Neighbourhood was safe and so culturally rich, short walk to everything . I will def return. Highly recommend Garlands ! ”

The property is well maintained, beautiful, and full of gorgeous plants. There is a rooftop pool and lounge area with a view of the ocean. I’m looking forward to visiting this hotel again!”

“The room had a great view of the ocean. There is also a rooftop view available to others without a view (our view was enough in our case). The a/c worked well. The staff were always available when we needed them and helped us out a few times with directions. This was very helpful when we attempted the bus! I would not recommend if you have a wheelchair, walker or other mobility issues (but then, PVR itself would be an issue). Loved this place, very clean, modern and comfortable.”

“The apartment comes fully stocked with dishes, a washing machine, dishwasher, and twice filtered water (from the fridge) that's safe to drink. The cleanliness isn't to Canadian standards, but for being Mexico, it was good. The housekeeping staff could definitely do better, especially on door handles and cabinet pulls. The air conditioning also worked very well. Ladies, bring your mirror!! This place did not have a mirror for doing makeup and because of the lighting and the bathroom counter being……
