"My family has stayed in Homewood for 43 years. This home was by far the best. It is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and it is clear the owners aim to welcome guests with extra touches. The kitchen is well-stocked. Sauna, hot tub, and kayaks are provided. We had a garbage disposal issue and the handyman fixed it within an hour. Enjoy! "

"The day of this stay, my car completely broke down with a total engine failure, waited 2.5 hours for a tow, and had a generally miserable time. My partner and I were instantly relieved upon arriving to the cabin and finding everything exactly as wonderful as advertised. The day after, we enjoyed the hot tub and surrounding area so much, we extended our stay another night.In short, would definitely rent this place again and recommend this for others, particularly romantic couples."

"The location is great and the property was clean and welcoming. It was awesome to be less than a minute from the beach.As mentioned in other reviews, the property is a bit dated. Light switches and counters are kind of low if you're tall.The company (Grand Welcome) initiated several communications via eMail regarding check-in, how our stay was, and check-out. There were a few details in the eMail about the location that seemed to be inaccurate, regarding heating controls and the fireplace.I wasn't pleased that I had to go through an offshore third-party verification service after booking with VRBO (to complete the booking with Grand Welcome, not VRBO) where they wanted a photo of my driver's license. Never had to do that before.Overall a very nice stay at the property."

Nice when they can have their own space! The peek of the lake through the trees from the second floor kitchen/dining area was such a nice way to enjoy coffee before skiing for the day! "

"This A frame house was pretty well stocked, it was nice to have all the towels we needed. Typical kitchen items, only one small shower and one bath tub. Unfortunately the hot tub was not maintained and was very dirty. It worked well and the water was hot, but the management company failed to keep it clean so we couldn’t use it. It was a nice property and we loved the fire place!"
