Quiet getaway

This was a nice cabin that was away from the hustle and bussle of Wimberley and Dripping Springs. The stars are amazing ou there! It wasnt to far out though. You could get to either downton within about 25 min. The house was clean and we appreciated that every room had a least queen bed.be

Nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing

Very nice place to rent, on top of a hill with views for miles! Lots of room and hot tub is a plus. Decorations could use a dusting but overall we had a great time! Would recommend staying here.

Excellent getaway

Had an excellent stay. Cabin is very cozy and the view from the back porch is beautiful. A very quite neighborhood with deer roaming in the morning and evening. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Wonderful Stay at Double-D Cabin!

My group (5 adults + 1 dog) absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It's location is perfect. Isolated, but close to Wimberley and accessible via paved roads. My dog loved the big fenced-in yard, and my friends loved the hot tub! The bedrooms were comfy and check-in/out were a breeze. I highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to return!

Great Hill Country getaway

Perfect getaway near Jacobs Well, Cypress Falls, and all that Wimberley has to offer. The internet is pretty spotty but that was fine to get the family off their devices. Hot tub, House and the property were great and just what we needed. The rum distillery just down the road was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Nice, off-the-beaten-path location, beautiful scenery. The house was very comfortable. Property manager communicated about steps to take with cold weather pending, which made me feel better about securing the property. We’d go back.

Perfect Getaway

Love this place. Remote setting away from the crowds but 20 minutes or so from groceries and a few wineries, a brewery and a distillery. Beautiful view plus the cabin has a large, well designed porch to enjoy it from. A great hot tub too! Roomy and comfortable with three bedrooms. The master has a temporpedic mattress, which sleeps great too.

Hilltop Delight

Ours was a small group of older adults, looking to retreat from the city for conversation and quiet, and this property suited us perfectly. The breezy hilltop porch was welcoming and comfortably appointed, with lovely views in two directions. The cabin had three comfortable bedrooms, and a firm mattress on the sofa bed, as well as a well-appointed kitchen, with plenty of cooking utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent for quiet getaway

Far enough away to feel utterly private, but close enough to Wimberley to be convenient. We were delighted to be able to come as a whole family incl. the dog The WiFi is enough for simple email. We wanted a getaway, so it was good for us, but could be difficult if someone needed to work there. We will gladly return someday

View and location was great! Hot tub clean and warm! Did not come with firewood and wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be. A bit outdated but was fine for our short family get away. Not enough signal for TV to work. Enjoyed the available board games.

Beautiful view in the countryside

The view was beautiful and it is an older house which was fine with us. The upstairs shower did not have a shower head so we just had one shower between 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill and awesome back porch! HEB is about 20 minutes away. Fun get away!

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, and serene with plenty of privacy to enjoy the outdoor hot tub.

For the most part our stay was excellent. The inside is a bit dated, but suitable. Our main gripe was the cleanliness of the interior which requires a "deep cleaning". There were a few spider webs in the lamp shades and the carpet was DISGUSTING. There were quite a number of soiled places throughout the carpetting and the house smelt musty.

Exactly as worded in info. The only downside to property is we needed more towels. Five people and 4 towels aren’t enough. I also suggest it have instructions on how to use the Roku if it is available and local channels would be nice. Relaxing place to stay. It made our Christmas memorable.

Hilltop downtime

Perfect,remote location but only 15 minutes to Wimberely! Quiet,hilltop location perfect for a getaway from noise & traffic. The online pictures use "camera magic" to make it appear the cabin is further off the road & deeper in the backyard area There needs to be some cleaning done as there were towels in the washer,black specs( probably lint/ thread) in the carpet if the bed room. Needs minor maintenance done

Very nice house, but needs a lot of minor maintenance done. We found a few bugs crawling on the kitchen counters. The hot tub was leaking the whole time. There was no shower head in the upstairs bathroom. Just quite a few things that could have been fixed for the price. I do love the house and we enjoyed our weekend though. I hope it is maintained better next time.
