Fischer Farmhouse - Contemporary Farmhouse on 17 Private Acres With Great Views
This recently renovated contemporary rustic farmhouse is situated on 17 private acres overlooking an expansive hill country panorama with views of the Devil’s Backbone. Gentle breezes, the sounds of nature, and beautiful oak trees will soothe your senses. A large century oak tree estimated to be 250 years old, sits majestically on the edge of a large field near the house. An old pole barn and the original outhouse remind you of the history of this special property.
The farmhouse front porch welcomes you to come sit a spell. The front doors open to a large entryway with 2 bedrooms nearby. The first bedroom has 2 queen beds and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a trundle. Both bedrooms have outstanding views of the backyard and valley. This side of the home has a half bath as well. A mudroom for storage is located just inside the second entrance and enters into the large kitchen area. State of the art stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and kitchen island allow for cooking large meals. A wood counter area with counter stools makes for a nice breakfast area in the morning. The right side of the home has a full bathroom, a bedroom with a king bed and a master bedroom with a king bed and on suite full bathroom. There is also a large laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Outdoors there is tons of shady oak trees as well as a fire pit surround with seating and a picnic table. The huge back yard is also equipped with beautiful landscaping, horseshoes, and washers. There is also a hot tub! This home is perfect for relaxing, but with just a 15 minute drive into Wimberley or Canyon Lake grocery stores, shopping, and dining options are not far away.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES: Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. Luggage storage is unavailable while the home is being prepared for your arrival. We recommend making travel plans accordingly.
SELF CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: All reservations will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide Hills of Texas Lodging with a valid credit card to be placed on file for their stay. In lieu of charging a damage deposit or non-refundable damage waiver, a temporary hold of $350 will be placed on a credit card upon arrival for incidentals (just like they do at hotels). We are basically just verifying with your financial institution that sufficient funds are available in the event they were needed to cover property damage(s). If there are no property damages, the card will not be charged.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Everyone participating in the reservation must be over age 25 or if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
MAX OCCUPANCY: The maximum capacity for this home is 11 guests (including children). No visitors or day guests are allowed. Only the guests registered in this reservation are allowed onsite. If it is discovered that guests are over occupying the property, it will result in eviction.
PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed at this property under any circumstance.
