Roller coasters twist and turn across the seven-acre (three-hectare) Nickelodeon Universe. The rides rise up all four stories of the huge Mall of America. Follow the bright signs or the Nickelodeon TV characters to your favorite ride and don’t miss the opportunity to meet Dora or SpongeBob SquarePants.The amusement park is a great escape for children of all ages after a morning of shopping at Mall of America, which is the biggest covered mall in the United States. Younger fans of Nickelodeon will enjoy Blue’s Skidoo and Diego’s Rescue Rider, both slower-paced rides. The Balloon Race and Big Rigs are also good for younger crowds.All rides have height restrictions however, a chaperoned ride is possible on specified rides. It is situated between Minneapolis and St. Paul, about a 15-minute drive each way, and there are many public transport options.
