"The grounds are gorgeous. The themed cottage was amazing. We had fun checking out the decorations inside and playing with the oracle deck. Snack basket was stocked full of goodies. Tried a tea from it that was delicious. Property owner was very responsive when we needed to reach out. Can’t wait to stay again. I’m hoping I can talk family into doing a reunion there in the future. "

"This house is located in a very private location surrounded by a beautiful forest. Sounds of birds and wind are all I heard while sleeping with the window open The kitchen is huge and full of everything you could possibly need. Great spot!"

"Small (preferable), luxurious features (stove, shower, sinks, and the floors, the little drawer knobs, and even the little wood stove is a luxurios feature!). All the windows - curtains aren't necessary because there are no other cabins anywhere! That is wonderful! It is what makes it so special. No cabin on every side of you like other places! It's just you, the river, the pasture, the creek, the rain, the owner's home a far distance but close enough for friendship. It's just a great experience. Don't tell too many people or you'll never get a reservation!"

"1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. The area had a recent fire but is recovering nicely. 3. the camp itself is worth the trip 4. Communication from expedia to vrbo to Dan Sasquach was severely lacking. "

"The place is wonderful. Clean, clear instructions on how things are setup. Beds are comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, watched deer and turkeys roam the back yard a few times."

"Great place, a cosy beautifully decorated old house with (unheated) enclosed porches where there is an added bedroom, half bath, service porch with washer & dryer, laundry sink where dishes are washed and the refrigerator."

"I loved the quiet beauty of the location and the nature. We saw butterflies and dragon flies and lizards, though we never found the butterfly pavilion. The swimming was lovely but became crowded with just two families using it. It was very hot during our visit which is nobody's fault but made everything harder to enjoy and we did not find any other swimming area. The tent itself was very spacious and comfortable except very hot though it was surrounded by trees on two sides. After all, we were there in the hottest July ever on record in the world and we felt good to be staying in a beautiful, low environmental impact place. If I stay there again in summer I'll bring a battery powered fan!"

"Things I wish I knew: (1) how far the hike was between the parking lot and greenhouse. I was exhausted by the drive only to find I had to haul my stuff up a steep incline. I would have prepared differently. (2) how you define a bathroom - I didn’t need much but again, I would have planned differently if I had know what you offered. 3) how bad the roads and bridge were - I don’t mind an adventure but had there been a place to turn around I would have done so and slept in my car. I considered it after the email that was sent (4) communication was fun. Had to ask for the directions email. I was told I needed my own bedding due to COVID but there would be bedding if I really needed only to find the bed made upon arrival. "
