“The Lodge was even better than expected! Very spacious with large kitchen, dining and living room area for people to hang out together. Large tv and reclining couch to enjoy some late night movies. The host made the whole process very easy and made sure the AC was on when we arrived for comfort. ”

“The resort layout provided great privacy and quiet surroundings. I greatly appreciated the self-check-in/out to the cabin. The cabins and Tee-Pee area shared one shower/restroom area that required an unlock code to use and a $3 deposit for shower use much like a State Park facility. “This is the ideal halfway’ish point between the Redwood Forest, the coastal Highway, and Crater Lake. After many hours in the car traveling down US 101 and then several more hours getting to O’Brien, it was great to sleep in a nice king sized bed in a cabin. Normally we would show up at our campsite after hours in the car and set up camp, tired, and bickering. A little glam camping was well worth the extra money to have more family harmony while on vacation. O’Brien is well positioned for seeing...

“We loved our stay here. This cabin is at the end so it offers a bit more privacy than the others. It was beautifully appointed and had all the basics, as well as coffee pods, creamer and comfy bedding. It does not have a fire pit like the other cabins but we were able to start a small fire in the grill. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.”

“The property was beautiful, the cabins and various other structures were beautiful, the many tile mosaics were , you guess it, beautiful. No complaints at all. The goats were sweet lovies, we met the greatest dog , one of the residents we met was kind and generous and showed us around. My only complaint is that we only had one night in the area! Maybe someday I’ll make it back to the west coast and stay again! Thankful for the kindness of this off grid community for sharing their space with us.”
