The location was perfect! Room was nice. Fitness Center had everything I needed. And saving $25 off of breakfast was a bonus. We will definitely stay here again!
Super close to campus. Parking was not easy but options on the street. Big room, comfy bed.
Did like it more when it was the Durant - had more personality.
Beds comfortable, room clean. Nice location, walking distance to the Greek Theater. It was nice to have Henry's resturant and bar located on the 1st floor. Great drinks!
I love love LOVE this hotel! Amenities were so thoughtful! An electric teapot, a nightlight in the bathroom, etc. Just really love the character of the hotel, location, everything~
Property is old. And bold paint doesn’t cure the issues. While old, the hotel is clean. I would think most others stay for the location and that’s on point.
We stayed at the Graduate by Hilton Berkeley while attending a show at the Greek Theatre, and it was a great choice. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the venue and close to everything around the UC Berkeley campus.
The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the hotel has a fun Berkeley vibe. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again the next time we're in town for a show.
They were very accommodating. It was worth it to book it through Expedia, booking directly with the hotel was incredibly more expensive. The hotel is overall clean and well maintained, there were a few stains on the tub but other than that the room was comfortable, clean and organized.
Keep in mind that the rooms are also a bit small, but if you’re a solo traveler you should be completely fine.
We enjoyed our short stay here and was aware it was an historic older hotel. They truly have made the most of this building, esthetically and comfortably. We chose to stay here due to the location and short walk to the Greek theater. (Super easy!) There was plenty of parking and be aware that there are actually two parking lots behind the hotel (not just one small one.) We booked a King room so I'm sure it was larger than some. It had plenty of space and an in room sofa too. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We loved the eclectic college theme in the hotel. The restaurant was nice, good food, and appreciated the $25. credit that comes with the booking. Only wish they had been open for lunch. The one suggestion we have is to add a vending machine. There were some snack items and energy drinks near the front desk, but no sodas. However they did provide a couple water bottles in the room fridge which was appreciated. Lastly, I wish to compliment the friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again when in Berkeley!
The rooms were clean and quiet. I loved the ceiling fan. However, the bathroom was very small. Hardly big enough for one traveler. I had a room with a king bed. There was no way two people could use the bathroom. The water fluctuated between hot and cold. Having said that. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was in a great location.
