Kids loved the bunk beds with privacy curtains, the arcade in the room was lots of fun and the views of the lauterbrunnen valley and mountains were spectacular. I stayed at Hotel Edelweiss from July 23 to 26 and had a very peaceful and pleasant experience.Everything was clean, functional, and thoughtfully managed. The room was quiet and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a full day in the mountains.
The team was kind and welcoming, which really added a warm touch to the stay. There’s a common area where guests can enjoy free coffee, tea, and water — a nice gesture even though these aren’t available in-room.
The location is good, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere, though do keep in mind there’s a short but steep uphill walk (around 7 minutes) from the train station.
Breakfast was modest but enough to start the day. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly base in Wengen. I appreciated the hospitality and would gladly return."
"We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here again. "

"Diane was a wonderful host! She responded quickly to any questions and had clear instructions on how to access the property as well as a thoughtful binder on things to do and information about the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. The views were breathtaking! The bus stop is a 2 min walk to the Lauterbrunnen train station or a 15 min walk to town. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Switzerland. For reference we were a family of 6 (2 parents, 2 grandparents, 10 and 13 year old) "

We could walk anywhere we needed to go. It’s also on the bus route but we chose to walk.

"We enjoyed our stay at Staubach by Interhome. The accommodations were comfortable and nicely furnished. We had plenty of room for the family and we loved having 2 bathrooms and use of a kitchen. The communication and check-in process was a little difficult and confusing, between the huge time difference and language barrier. After we got passed that, everything was great. The scenery and the views from the home were picture perfect. It's a little bit of a walk from the train station but we discovered there is a bus stop almost across the street from the home that takes you right to the station."
