My other uncertainty was the security. It felt a little unsafe at times and at one point during our stay our room began to smell like cigarettes in our room and it lingered for a moment. "This hotel is Very popular with bus tours. Which means it’s very busy. To get hot water in the morning and a seat for breakfast you need to get up before 6am or after 9, when everyone has left."

"I have been visiting the Izaak Walton for most of my life and each time is special. Yes it might be an older building and have occasional problems related to age but the inn is possibly the most unique in all of Montana. The staff are always top notch and professional and the location is amazing! "
