"The home was beautifully situated on a private plot of land on the Mississippi river. The house was perfect for our family. We had a snow storm while we stayed in the next morning. The parking area and the driveway were plowed. That was amazing. The home had everything we needed to have an outstanding family get together. I highly recommend this home to anybody that wants a private getaway. The hosts responded immediately to any question I had and were wonderful and gracious. "My husband, myself and another couple enjoyed this cabin for a lovely winter weekend getaway in the woods. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect touch and the view is beautiful. Everything was in great condition and the cabin was cozy, especially with the wonderful wood fireplace. We took advantage of the snowshoes and went on the trail conveniently located at the end of the driveway. Aitkin had some adorable antique shops and the brewpub in town had great food. It was a great weekend getaway and I highly recommend it:)"
