You get what you pay for here. While clean, I would not say it meets the standards of a Holiday Inn or Best Western. The door handle inside would pull off if one was not careful. The shower current was missing. Plus, there is no room service, and I made my bet every day after the first day I found out. However, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well. I got the room for $60.00/night, so I was not expecting much, and that is what I got. A place to sleep at night, a shower, and a toilet to use. I thought it as adiquit, but I would not take my wife there.

False advertising!!! No laundry, no breakfast, no daily maid service. This is a welfare hotel full of long term residents. The doors don’t fully close until you slam them shut. Poor quality linens with cigarette burns in them. The carpet in the hallway and our room was dirty, stained black and sticky. Some of the rooms have laminate flooring. Very old microwave and mini fridge in the room. No coffee maker, and the coffee in the little check in area is VERY UNHYGIENIC. The lobby is as pictured but is locked away from guests. There appears to have been a fire at one time near the lobby area, and part of the building is boarded up instead of repaired. There are vending machines for snacks and Coke products, $2.25 each. It is pet friendly and I had 3 large dogs. There is a grassy area in the back that is good for dog walking, and 1 picnic table outside. It is actually in a very good neighborhood though with nice restaurants nearby.

The staff member at the front desk was friendly, and I was grateful to have the option to arrive at the inn after midnight, but everything else about the experience was subpar. The entry area to check in was dirty and unkempt and I could see dozens of dead bugs in the case of the lights above us. When I got my key card, my husband went to check out the room without me and came back saying we would not be staying overnight. He returned the key to the front desk and we ended up calling a friend instead.

There was no breakfast though they advertise a free breakfast. When I commented about no breakfast the manager was rude and suggested I go somewhere else. Doubtless he would keep my money. The door handle fell off when I closed the door, no shower curtain, TV sound did not work correctly, only 1 pillow for the king sized bed, multiple poorly patched marks on the bathroom walls.

DO NOT STAY AT SCOTTISH INN! I should have read the online reviews, but I trusted Expedia to not put me into a dump. That was a BIG mistake. The property was a pig sty, with split door jambs (apparently someone had kicked-in my room's bathroom door). I checked-in late at night, so I had no viable choice but to stay the one night. In the morning, while waiting on the phone for the Expedia Cust Svc rep, I Googled the reviews as I watched a bedbug skitter across the bed. The window drapery was only half on the rod, and it was held closed by tape. The bed had a blanket that didn't even cover the mattress. A neighboring room had to call 911 to get someone removed who had come into their room and passed out on the floor. I left there in the morning without even showering. While in the service, I stayed at some pretty sketchy places, but never anything as bad as this!!!

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property felt like something out of a horror movie. The hallways had a terrible odor, and the overall condition of the hotel was unacceptable. The first room I was assigned had no working lights. After I reported the problem, I was moved to another room where the balcony door had a sheet of plywood instead of glass. The beds had old, worn, stained-looking sheets that did not appear clean, and I did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. Because of these conditions, I decided not to stay at the hotel. Despite leaving, I was still charged for all three nights of my reservation. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but guests should not be expected to pay for accommodations that are not in acceptable condition. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this property. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests.

Roaches in room online it said it had breakfast and they don't service breakfast at all I got a Non-Smoking room and it smelled like cigarette in room and trash under the bed never going back wish I called get my money back
