“We just really enjoyed the whole layout of the cabin. The openness was awesome, the 2 bedrooms were perfect along with the 2 full bathrooms. Having a washer/ dryer in the cabin gets a 5- thumb salute. For us, having a 2nd TV to watch would have been great as well as one of the bathrooms having a walkin shower available as we are 2 older people and stepping over a tub is a hazard. But that's splitting hairs. We will recommend this place over and over and would stay again”

“We had an amazing stay at Dog Creek Lodge! It was our first family reunion since the pandemic...we had 20 adults and 8 children stay on property. Accommodations were perfect for our group, spacious with numerous large gathering areas, a huge kitchen, fun game room, the lake with kayaks, canoes available, a fire pit, the cafe/catering options for outside food nearby and a fantastic helpful staff. The tree house cocoon was unusual, but once we got situated it was really comfy and we slept great. Plus we have a fun memory! If you are a light sleeper I would recommend earplugs as you can hear the traffic on the road nearby. ”

"Everyone, beware! This hotel is a scam. I booked a room for three of us through Expedia. When we arrived at around 9:00 pM, the front desk clerk rudely told me they only had rooms for two and I needed to book another room. I had already paid on the website. My phone had no signal, and when I tried to connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi, it wasn't working, so I couldn't prove I'd paid. I paid about $134, but the hotel only said I paid about $73 and needed to book another room. They asked for more money. After about five minutes of talking, they angrily said they were closed and kicked me out. I later contacted Expedia and emailed the hotel, but they didn't respond. They also didn't answer my phone calls. The last time they answered, they said I was already checked in. This was my first time encountering a scam hotel in the US. Be careful when booking with this hotel, and check other people's reviews online.MOTEL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY！！！！"
