“A little slice of heaven, next door to the Promised Land. We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. “Spent the 4th of July weekend here with my wife and our dogs and we loved the convenience of the location being so close to Lake Wallenpaupack and Hawley. Had all the amenities we needed and the dogs found it quiet and cozy for their much needed “relax” time as well. Highly recommended!”

“This home is located in a nature lovers paradise. The house is very nice and the covered porch is great. There is a path down to the river. They have a beautiful large deck overlooking the water and a staircase leading into the river. And the woods surround everything. A true quiet getaway.Liz was so easy to work with and quickly got back to me with any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay!”

“Good location near wallenpaupack and Fairview lakes. Plenty of sleeping areas and places to relax. Back deck off the dining area is nice for relaxing. Some good fishing opportunities down at the pond which is a short walk down the gravel path. Multiple kayaks and canoes on site to utilize. Overall a great place to stay with a big family.”

“We lioved sunny point. The house was even better than the pictures. Especially loved the sunroom for games puzzles and meals. The kitchen was well stocked. Everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly. Was disappointed that the bank was too rocky and steep to get our kayaks in but at the end of the week realized there was a community boat ramp we could have used. The dock worked well for our fishing boat. Hoping to come back next year. ”

“We stayed at this retreat in the woods for a 3 day concert run at Bethel Woods. It was clean, quite & close to the venue. The yard was huge and we spent lots of time at the fire pit. Our favorite beach on the Delaware River was only 12 minuets away so we spent our days river side. Plenty of parking and the host was very helpful with our questions. We will definitely be rebooking!”
