The room was nice. Would have been nice to have a guide for T.V. and access to a microwave, but those are little things. The staff member I interacted with had great customer service skills. I would stay here again.

Quiet, comfortable night. The outside of the buildings is old and worn, but the room was clean with plenty of light options inside. If you're looking for a desk and chair, try the Extended Stay at the same hotel office. Close to a variety of restaurant and shopping options.

It’s a Red Roof Inn, so you shouldn’t expect too much but it was clean and quiet. First room we got had a very loud a/c unit so the nice front desk staff member moved us to a nicer room. Nice grassy area for your pup as well. And extremely convenient to Rider University, which was the reason for our visit-move-in day.

Strong smell of pineal, sticky floor, no hair dryer, loud visitors outside late at night. Did not feel safe in neighborhood Very nice management.

The remote to the TV did not work. There was mold in the bathroom. We had asked for more towels and there were non available. The room had a slight smell to it. On a good note the beds were very comfortable -

Please do not stay here

The only good thing about this hotel was the front desk. She was patient and very helpful. I did not feel safe here. People hanging out by the stairs. The interior of the room was nice if it was clean. The bed kept moving off the bed frame everytime I moved. The roach motel that was placed in the bathroom was disgusting.

Very disappointing

I arrived late. Man who checked me in very pleasant. No elevator so must have 1st floor room. Unloaded car and then discovered the TV wouldn’t turn on. Not unusual occurrence. Returned to the desk. New guy. I tell him my TV won't turn on. He writes on his paper tablet that the TV won't work and tells me someone will check it at 9am. I ask for another room. He says they only have 2nd floor. I know that's a lie because I see 2 rooms across the lot with curtain opened. Any other time there has been a TV problem the desk clerk comes to the room and fixes. Can't sleep without TV noise. I have stayed here more frequently than any other Red Roof but will rethink in the future.

Check-in was easy and pleasant enough, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. However, the room (a no-smoking room) smelled like cigarette smoke treated with air freshener, which was really obnoxious and lasted like that the entire night. Also, the soap dispenser had no soap in it and the fluorescent light over the sink did not come on so my wife had to apply her makeup in the dim lighting from the rest of the room. The shower worked and was in good condition - probably the best feature of the room. Check-out the next morning was surprisingly disappointing: the reception was locked up and there was no one there (about 7:15 a.m.) so it was not possible to get a printed receipt. We had to deposit our room key in an open drawer and walk away. Four hours later my inbox received an email that I didn't see until evening because I was on the road all day, notifying me that we could check out online but it was already way too late for that. I have never before stayed anywhere where there was literally no one present to check out departing guests. Overall, this is not an experience I would want to repeat. This will probably be my last time staying at a Red Roof Inn.
