Beautiful grounds with spectacular view, great staff and good fod

Salento is one of the most beautiful locations in Colombia and Kawa Resort is probably the best place to stay in Salento. It's that simple. My wife, my daughter (9 years old) and I spent 4 nights there and we can't say enough positive things about all aspects of the hotel. We got one of the top bungalows in the property and it was well worth it: spacious, super comfortable bed, highly clean, unique, and beautiful. The hottub in the varanda was a fantastic touch. We also enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel (2 nights) and had delicious meals there. The hotel is at walking distance from Salento (10 to 15 min walking or so), which was also great. But what really took it to the next level was the people working there. Everyone treated us with a genuine smile on their faces and a passion for hospitality. That was very easy to see. Finally, I want to send a special shout out and a big thank you to Eduardo (front desk), the ladies in the kitchen who took such good care of us at breakfast (apologies for not catching all your names), every morning, and Claudia, who provided me and my wife with fantastic massages. And I wish I could say something that adequately describes the views from the place... but I lack the poetry to find the right words to do so. Mother Nature at its finest, I suppose. WOW! What a place!

Tukki es un hotel precioso y prácticamente nuevo, por lo que todo está en perfectas condiciones. La decoración es muy bonita, cuidada y perfectamente integrada con el entorno, con detalles de artesanía local que le dan mucha personalidad. Las habitaciones son cómodas e impecables, con camas muy confortables y baños amplios y en excelentes condiciones. La ubicación es espectacular: está rodeado de naturaleza y ofrece mucha tranquilidad, pero a menos de 10 minutos de Filandia, con excelentes opciones de restaurantes y cafés. Es además una base perfecta para recorrer el Eje Cafetero: a unos 40 minutos de Salento, menos de una hora del Valle del Cocora y también de Pereira o Armenia. Los senderos dentro de la propiedad permiten disfrutar del paisaje y hacer avistamiento de aves. El desayuno es rico y muy bien preparado, aunque con opciones algo limitadas. Pero lo que realmente hizo especial nuestra estancia fue el personal. Nos atendieron como en muy pocos lugares: siempre atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar, y nos dieron excelentes recomendaciones para conocer la zona. Solo estuvimos dos días y nos quedamos con ganas de disfrutar mucho más del hotel y su entorno. Sin duda volveremos. ¡Tukki es totalmente recomendable!

This was my favorite stay of my entire Colombia trip. I will be back. The owner takes care of you and the customer’s needs the entire time. I recommend this place. Food was delicious. It is pet friendly. It has beautiful views. Road was not the best but it is worthy.
