Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. ”

“Good experience to stay in a hotel which has more than a century, great breakfast that was served by the waiter, could choose more than 1 set of the breakfast The hotel is facing at lake Bled, quite chilled when you dine in the restaurant, but not very recommended to have the 4-course fine dining as it is expensive, only go with the free breakfast is enough ”

“The kitchen had basics but missing a few utensils such as a bottle opener or corkscrew, spatula or serving spoon. We improvised. Also some light bulbs were out. Great location in the heart of old town, but be aware that there is a lively Mexican restaurant below (good food but noisy) and the street doors were often wedged open. Wouldn’t want to stay there with very young children or as a lone female. ”

“Fantastic property in every way! The location was excellent in the heart of Lake Bohinj territory (easy day trip to Bled from there) with so much beauty and things to explore within walking/biking distance. The hotel itself was impeccable...from the friendly and helpful wait staff, gorgeously furnished rooms, fantastic restaurant and bar with wonderful food and desserts, a great spa with excellent services to choose from, and very thoughtful and eco conscious design. I LOVED my stay there and……

“Eine sehr schöne und renovierte Pension. Das Personal war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr schön. Auch das Bad war sehr neu und qualitativ auf hohem Niveau. Beim Frühstück ist die Auswahl eher gering und bei größeren Andrang schnell aus. Es wird aber in wenigen Minuten nachgeliefert. Ich denke dass sich das auch nach der Neueröffnung etwas einspielen muss. Preis/Leistung definitiv ausgezeichnet. Gerne wieder für einen Kurztrip.”
