When you've ticked off the terrific attractions in Regent, there's loads more to discover in the surrounding region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and take to the open road. These are some drives we're confident you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Grand Beach Provincial Park and lots more intriguing attractions in Lake Winnipeg. From Regent, it's roughly 100 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Canada, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car.
