“Had a wonderful stay at Cedar Retreats this weekend. The lodge was very modern and looked like new. We spent a great deal of pur time in the hot tub which was so relaxing and very warm. “We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 & 7) for 4 nights. It was a very enjoyable place to stay, within walking distance of everything Masham has to offer - and the Co-op was incredibly close! The twin room upstairs doesn't have a door so noise travels but once the kids were asleep it didn't affect them. We stayed during Feb, so the skylight in the main bedroom was not an issue for us. The lounge, bathroom (shower only) and kitchen were all modern / nicely done.”

“Arrived on the Friday to fantastic and clean cabin. All the bedding and kitchen utensils were provided, including cooking oil. The garden the cabin sits in is beautiful and sitting out on the balcony at night having a bbq and beers was well worth the travel. All in all it has been a brilliant weekend and I would highly recommend staying here, I know I will be coming again.”

“My daughter’s , grandchildren and I stayed at Morton House for 2 nights whilst visiting the Polar Express (15 minutes drive away). The house was large , warm and welcoming. Children had a ball chasing each other around . Beds are extremely comfortable with quality bedding . Everyone slept very well . Perfect location , visited local churches and park , walked by the river .. Communication from host,, Michelle, was excellent. she even downloaded Polar Exoress film on Sky so the kids could watch……

“Went to Masham with friends the village is beautiful, the local pubs Kingshead, Bay Horse we frequented most of our 3 days and the staff were lovely couldn’t do enough for you. Met friendly locals and had a good laugh with the butcher, there’s plenty of local shops bakers, grocery and the cake/sweet shop which one of my friends bought all of the lemon drizzle cakes. We had a tour at The Black Sheep Brewery a must if you go to Masham and food there is excellent. Thank you Michelle, Morton House……

"Great location! Around 5 mins walk from the rail station. The room is premium and large. Well equipped with everything you need (except I didn't see a fridge though). The breakfast is nice exceythe black pudding is a bit dry. Two things I was not that satisfied. 1) there's some kind of smell like humidity. But ofc I got used to it in 5 mins... 2) I sometimes heard leaking (should be water going from the tubes but sounds like leaking). However all the rests are above my expectations so I still rate 5 star."
