Although this hotel is comfortable and most of the staff is very friendly and accommodating, a room rate in the &300’s is still quite high given the level of amenities, furnishings, type of breakfast, etc. It is a very convenient location to the university of Rochester especially when events at the university occur at various hours of the day. For future, I plan on staying again at this hotel only if the rates are more reasonable.

Overall great place to stay! Love the free breakfast everyday of the week, and it was delicious 😋. Plus they gave free dinner and drinks Monday thru Wednesday! It was clean and they allow pets. The atmosphere is great especially right along the river. Most important the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish is that they had a pool.

Anyone visiting Rochester should stay at this hotel. From the time I walked through the front door I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff. I was lucky enough to arrive on a Wednesday when they have their social evening with a BBQ and a couple of free beers. The manager herself and her assistant made themselves available and welcomed the guests. The hotel itself is kept clean and well maintained. The breakfast was well presented and tasty. There is a plenty of parking out the front of the hotel.

Breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. Hot coffee was available at all hours. Parking was easy. Location is convenient to multiple universities. Room 101 ( where we stayed ) was roomy, but the main bed is against a wall with a mechanical room on the other side that hummed all night.

We’ve had great experience at Staybridge hotels and we are adding this one to the list. Fresh baked cookies and friendly staff when you walk in. Complimentary drinks from mon-wed for guests. The room was nice with the kitchen and comfy bed. We had the river view which was nice cause you could see the university of Rochester too. Good breakfast. Deff will stay again :)
