"Lovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didn’t use the pool, fitness centre or spa so can’t comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. We’ll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open."
"I have stayed here many times and the property and staff are excellent. In room facilities are what you need and no frills, food including breakfast in the restaurant is fresh and tasty and the free extensive car park is really useful. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed in room 3 and the decor is beautiful, the bed really comfortable , i would say medium /firm. Ensuite fully equipped with toiletries , towels etc. They have put in alot of care so that your needs are met. Cleanliness is excellent. I would stay again if i needed to stop over in darlington. There was no breakfast included, however there are lots of places close buy to get breakfast."
