"Enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Run cabin. Access to Chama and the Cumbres train depot is less than 10 minutes. Clean. Saw several deer around the cabin area in early mornings. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need. General things like salt, pepper spices and pan spray ,/ olive oil were available for use. The host allowed us to stay an extra day added on to our original dates. Host was very responsive to any text or calls we made for things we may have wanted to know. Fantastic host. Would definitely stay again uf in the area. "

"This hotel is full of charm, including creaky wood floors. Breakfast isn't served, but the lunch-dinner menu is varied and the food is good. Excellent house margaritas! Staff is super friendly. Conveniently located across the main street from the railyards, if you're going to take the Cumbres & Toltec historical train. All guests followed the hotel's quiet hours rules, at least while I was there, even though at the end of the hall on the second floor, where my room was, there was a pool table and a big-screen TV showing a football game. "

"This cozy casita was a perfect location for our trip to Chama. We were able to walk everywhere in town, including restaurants and the train station. The casita was exceptionally clean and well stocked. A great find. We sat in the yard the first day we got there and enjoyed the autumn weather."

"It was secluded but still close to attractions and restaurants. Very quiet area, full of wildlife you can watch right from the porches. We plan to visit again as soon as we can. "
