Great room for the price

Overall great hotel. Room was fine. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan though. Gets really steamy. Room service was great. Free breakfast was good, did the job.

Incredible deal!

I am on the road about 26 weeks a year, and during those weeks I will stay in hotels about three nights a week. The Clarion was the single best deal I have found in years. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice people at the front desk, an actual good breakfast. I would highly recommend this place.

I liked the fact that the dining hall was spacious and they had adult drinks upon request at the front desk. Rooms are very comfortable but could use some cleaning of the walls, doors, and high moisture areas as mold was seen and chipping paint. Overall, very nice for the price.

The staff was amazing! The property is a bit outdated. The breakfast was not self serve We asked to be moved from 1st room we were given due to the intolerable smell of cigarettes smoke.

The hotel is old is the rating on condition,the amenities hold for all the hotels that keep the fifty dollar hold is still too extensive for me,it should be released within one day of checkout, breakfast was very fresh, and good, overall opinion it was pretty good.

Beds are comfortable, clean. Showers are always filled with supplies and clean. Breakfast could offer more but hey it’s included. And hot . Coffee is good.

PROs : Decent Budget Stay . Walmart is nearby. Free Parking is a big plus. Cons : Rooms are small and congested . Breakfast had limited options ( only eggs, bread and cereal) We stayed for 2 nights but were mostly out exploring the town and SeaWorld. A good option to consider if you need to crash only for the night stay. PPL working there are amazing.

The staff was fairly nice so it was really no issuers there but the room was FILTHY!! The floors were not mopped, there were rat traps under the sink in the bathroom and the toilet paper was not new, it was from the guest before us. “Breakfast” is served to you.. We were not brought any clean linen (fresh towels or toilet paper) and nor did we receive any sort of room service during our stay. People were walking in and out of the building, the doors are just open 24/7… would not recommend at all staying here.

Yes, the place looks like the pictures that they show, the pool was clean, but everything else is another story, they only had one elevator working, you had to keep asking one of the staffs to let you into your room because they keys to the rooms were down. Things in my room were broken and the lamps were dirty, the bed was comfortable and cleaned and your weren’t able to make your own breakfast plate, someone had to make it for you. I don’t believe this is somewhere I will stay again.

I expect better....

What happened??? Not the first time we stay at the Clarion. This time the hotel was DIRTY. The hallways a mess, the breakfast area not kept tidy & the corners of floors of the bathroom had hair & guck in the corners & around the commode. Technical issues made keying the room impossible. We had to be escorted back everyime we left our room to have it unlocked by a staff member w/ a master key. Luckily, EVERY staff member that helped us back to our room was friendly and courteous and VERY APOLOGETIC for the inconvenience. Will we come back?? YES! I know that Clarion can be better than this. Hopefully by our next visit to SA all these issues will be corrected.

During my stay at the property it was being used as a homeless shelter. The parking lot was full of unsavory characters and I’m pretty sure there was a guy dealing drugs out of his room near the back door with people coming and going. The facilities seemed to be in working order everything was roped off and closed probably because of the clientele they were serving. For breakfast they had a buffet set up annd ripped off with an attendant that would serve you, which made us feel like we were prisoners. Our room was missing at least 3 light bulbs, floor boards were falling off and it was generally kinda shabby. The elevators were very dirty and smelled of marijuana most of the time. For the money we payed we could have stayed at a much safer hotel with fully operational facilities and a breakfast service that didn’t make you feel like a prisoner. Really disappointed that we were sold a room at a homeless shelter for our trip at hotel prices.

The location was ideal for my needs. The staff is very very friendly no doubt. However, the property seriously needs some upgrades and cleanliness. The floors were very dirty, there was only one working elevator which had trash inside. The moment i entered my room, there was such a strong smell of clorox that i got a headache instantly. I tried calling the front desk but the lu could not hear me, so apparently the phone wasnt working either. I had to go all the way to let them know. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and kind and immediately changed my room. We always look forward to a breakfast in a hotel, and i booked this as it had breakfast. But the breakfast isnt self served. They would serve u. The tator tots were cold and sorta soggy. The omelet wasnt "hot", so much for the "hot breakfast". Then i thought ok i would take some waffles, but they were not serving waffles either. I was disappointed in all the good reviews i read about this property as compared to what i experienced.
