"We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we hope this place is around for years to come for us to bring friends and family. The house was so light and airy inside with tons of space, lots of seating in the living room and dinning room, games of all kinds, and everything you need in the kitchen. Activities all over the property. There is so much room inside, very comfortable bed, lots of fans, bedding and really anything and everything you could need. The VIEWS, OMG from the front porch, living room and bedrooms. We would recommend this place to everyone wanting to have the BEST SAN LUIS VALLEY EXPERIENCE. Reed was our amazing host. He shared some valley history with us and helped us find places to visit we weren't aware of. We are so thankful to get to meet someone like him. Thank you REED! "

"Lori, the host, could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating! She is truly a kind and helpful person.This place was ideal. We are 3 old friends who were interested in riding ATVs around the local trails. We were able to ride from the cabin. Everything inside worked, and we had no problems. The place was very comfortable and relaxing. As others have said, the bathroom is small, but hey, get in and out. The shower had plenty of water pressure and an ample supply of hot water....and the water is very hot. That makes it nice for washing dishes - you are able to sanitize everything for the next guests.The washer and dryer worked well. Be sure to take your trash out to the dumpster. The front porch is a nice and relaxing spot. We brought our own camp chairs, which made it very comfortable. They do have a picnic table on the porch if you do not have camp chairs.The pond is stocked with trout and is very relaxing to watch or fish.This is top of our list when we return."

"Beautiful property with comfortable beds and incredible views. Check-in was a breeze and owner worked with us on the check-in time. We loved the lack of WiFi, felt more like an escape (although cell service was strong if we needed anything). No dishwasher, which some might find off-putting, but not a problem for us. We thought it the perfect little cabin for a Colorado summer stay."
