"If I could, I would have stayed longer in this establishment. The pictures and description does not do justice to this amazing place. The rooms are old but in reasonable state, and they are clean. The breakfast is good and with a perfect view over the garden. The garden is the best thing about the place. The property is actually like an island with a small old metal bridge and it is full of mutiple species of Heliconia and also a nice untouched forest for small walk and discovery. We saw both spider and howler monkeys, sloths (with their children) and numerous types of birds. The property has direct access to the river so you can bath there. It is simplely amazing!"

"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

Peaceful Stay with Exceptional Hospitality in Guápiles

"Our stay at David and Donna's VRBO in Guápiles was outstanding. Despite our late arrival due to a delayed flight, they ensured a smooth check-in, showcasing their exceptional hospitality right from the start. The property is a tranquil oasis, beautifully furnished, providing a serene escape with all the comforts of home. We stayed in Apartment 2, which suited us perfectly with its open layout, creating a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. For those who prefer distinct, cozy areas, Apartment 1 offers a charming alternative with its unique, segmented layout. David and Donna's attentiveness and warmth made our visit memorable. Their VRBO is an excellent choice for anyone seeking peace and comfort in Guápiles, offering both excellent accommodations and remarkable hospitality. Highly recommended for a delightful stay!"

Wonderful property with nice decor, very comfortable stay

"The apartment is great and had everything we needed! The decor is very nice as well and I love the nice touches of art/style throughout the apartment and the grounds and pool. There are 2 apartments that are attached to one another but there is some clear separation so unless you’re outside using the pool, there really isn’t much issue with privacy. We also had the chance to use the unique custom made outdoor grill which my husband loved. Hot water is good in both apartments and has all the basic cookware/appliances you would need (we cook a lot) One of the apartments has a SmartTV (apartment 1) and the other has a tv with over 200+ channels. Apartment 1 is larger but we also stayed in apartment 2 which had a more open layout.. both are really nice and we had no problem staying in either of these. Donna is also an amazing hostess and gave us some great recommendations to great restaurants in the area. My husband grew up in Guapiles and was not aware of some of the places and we really appreciated that!"
