Sibling weekend

A wonderful stay with my 3 adult kids and best friend. We have done this a couple times celebrating my 60 and now 70th birthday. Had lots of laughs, enjoyed the beach walks, kayaking, game playing and lots of eating. The property was perfect for us.

Awesome property!

Such a comfortable cottage. Great location to the beach. The outdoor areas by the canal were also a great place for family gatherings! Quick walk to shops and restaurants.

This was our second time staying at the property and loved it just as much as our first visit! We had family join us this time, and the kids loved the pool and realizing how close we were to the beach.

The property was very nice. Condition of furniture was great. The amenities included kayak fishing poles beach supplies and the pool with hot tub at the property was very nice.

Family Vacation

Perfect location and perfect rental for a family of 6. (4 Adults and 2 children under the age of 2) Close to town and beach. Lakeside setting is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed all the amenities (pool, kayaks) The beach wagon and chairs was an added plus. We will definitely return!

Clean, professional, and close to todos north AMI

The suite was great. The pool and hot tub were great and warm, which helped when on a couple cool days. The lagoon was a nice to thing to be next to (lots of jumping fish) and great place for a patio. Proximity to the ocean is great. And restaurants and shops are a close walk away. But restaurant waits and traffic in spots were pretty bad.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway

House and accommodations exactly as detailed. Short walk to a beautiful white beach and kayak right from your backyard. Chilled out in the hot tub every night. First time visiting the West coast. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location on Anna Maria Island!

Property was very clean and nicely decorated. The pool was perfect to keep kids entertained during down time between the beach and excursions (pool towels available). The dock on the lake was fun to throw a cast net (brought from home) and watch the countless mullet jumping out of the water. The property is an easy walking distance to the beach and convenient for daily sunset trips. Overall, this property was ideal for a small family to enjoy Anna Maria Island!

Absolutely Perfect for Our Family

We couldn’t have been more impressed with our stay here. It was incredibly clean, perfectly stocked, from laundry, kitchen supplies to anything you’d need for an enjoyable beach time and canal fun. The location is walkable to shops/food and awesome beach access points. I would 100% recommend and return. Our boys were almost 6, 3.5 and 15 months for our stay and the amenities of the property provided us all an amazing time.

It was decent..

For the cost I guess there should be expectations of imperfections. If you're looking for budget friendly and location with 2/3 star hotel vibes, this spot is fine. Not sure if this review is public or not so I deleted all of my issues as I don't want to affect the business. But I will not be staying here again personally.

Perfect location for beaches/shopping

We had a great time here. Cute little spot, nice and private. Very short walk to the beach and just a slightly longer walk to the quaint shopping area. There was enough space for 4 adults, a toddler, and a baby. The rooms aren’t huge, but they do the trick. The swimming pool is excellent, shaped like Mickey. One ear is a shallow kiddie pool or wading pool, one ear is a hot tub and the main pool is no deeper than 5 feet. The door that leads out to the pool has an alarm (you can turn it off) that’s nice to alert if children are going somewhere they shouldn’t. That was a nice touch. Beach and bath towels are provided, as is a beach wagon, umbrella and chairs. That was all super convenient, especially the beach wagon. One recommendation would be to update the bath towels as they didn’t match the quality of the rest of the premise. Only sample sized shampoo/conditioner and a bar of soap are provided, so if you plan to stay longer than a few days, make sure you bring your own stuff. Also, the kitchen is very well stocked with all you need to cook in house. That was very convenient, as well, since it’s hard to eat out with two little kids. If you do eat out, we thoroughly enjoyed Ginnie and Janes for breakfast. It’s busy, but the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place. So close to beaches and shopping, we hardly had to drive anywhere. Nice little escape.

Beach Family Fun vacay!

This vrbo was in a PERFECT location. We were walkable to so many things (foods, shops, and the beach) which made travel with toddlers much easier. Also having a pool onsite was amazing. My boys loved the Mickey Mouse pool and we were in it almost every day! The only thing I will say was the property was small and seemed very tight. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers and it just felt like we were all on top of each other. Outside of that…. Perfect location and clean

Excellent Stay

This was probably my favorite place I’ve stayed with my family (2 kids under 4). My daughter is still talking about the “Mickey pool”, and my 1-year-old spent hours in the shallow section. The walk to the beach was easy thanks to the beach cart provided. The house is small, but it was very clean and well equipped. We were even able to rent a pack-and-play and high chair from a local business that had them waiting at the property for us. We kayaked out to the bay one day and saw a manatee — like a real life manatee! And we spent every evening on the dock watching the jumping fish. Just wonderful! As relaxing as a vacation gets with young kiddos. We’ll be back!

Lovely place to stay

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It had just about anything we could want. We used the kayaks and paddled through the canals behind the house. So convenient! It's decorated beautifully and was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Mickey Mouse Pool

My kids have dubbed this the Mickey Mouse pool house. We had a fantastic time! The beach is only a few minutes walking time away and the pool was perfect for lounging and swimming. We also enjoyed the outdoor living spaces.

Beautiful Property with GREAT location

My wife, our 3 year old and I had an amazing stay at the AMI beach lagoon. The property had everything we needed and was literally steps away from the beach. The pool was an added bonus. Will be staying here again!

Great location

Beach was just a block away. We didn’t use the kayaks because it was raining, but great to have that as an activity on the lake. We walked to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.
