The beautiful country cajun.

This place was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It was extremely clean and they had anything and everything you can think of especially for little kiddos. We enjoyed our stay with our little family at this beautiful property.

The property and the cabin were very well kept. We enjoyed our stay very much, sitting on the porch was so serene. The host, Judy was extremely timely in answering any and all questions we had about the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will definitley stay again.

Quiet Country House

Absolutely amazing house!!!! Very quiet in rural Lafayette, Louisiana. Far enough to be in the country yet close enough to the city for any event imaginable. The place is very clean and sleeping there was very comfortable. There is a kitchen with a microwave and pot and pans for DIY cooking. There are chairs outside along with a firepit. Booked this lovely cottage for my kiddos and I while we visited family. We absolutely loved it here. Was such a wonderful place to escape from all the hustle and bustle. we had such an amazing time playing hide and seek with my sisters and their family and enjoyed sitting around the fire and just enjoying the time with family. This place will remind you of what it truly means to be present in the moment.

Weekend Getaway

This place was absolutely amazing. Loved the rustic, antique decor. Such an adorable little cottage for a peaceful and quiet getaway. Everything was clean and there were even extras, such as coffee, sugar, creamer and seasonings. It was the most perfect weekend with access to the whole plantation grounds. This is everything it is advertised to be and much more. 6 members of our boxing team stayed here for a week for a boxing tournament and i can't say enough. From the breath taking views to the absolutely awesome owner Judy, this guest home has every amenity you need and the Plantation is so pleasant to take a anytime stroll. It was very nice and super quiet. We had no interaction with our host, so its hard to give review on that. If you want to get away and be alone this is the perfect place. The cabin was was fully stocked with everything you could need. Very easy check in. Door was open and key was inside. Only thing is we had hoped for more scenic view. The pond is nowhere near the house. A little disappointed with that, but overall it was a relaxing weekend. Beds are upstairs so if you have problems with stairs, you may want to consider sleeping on the daybeds downstairs or another w fu

Love this place!!!!

This little guest house was the perfect getaway for our family visit. We came down to visit grandchildren and brought some with us, as well! The location is off the beaten track and the cottage is separated from the other buildings on the property. It is decorated adorably and has a great homey feel. The owners were great to work with! Judy is a jewel! We stayed from Thursday evening to Sunday morning. There is fire pit in the backyard that we enjoyed two of the nights we were there. They even gathered more wood for us to use on the second night. We plan on staying here again on our next visit.
