Great stay.

Perfect to use with Geronimo Oaks Venue

My daughter got married on a Saturday at the venue next door. We rented from Thurs.-Monday. to make sure there was enough time for friends and festivities. It is very rustic and the only rental that close to the venue, but it is in the country and perfect for bridal party convenience.The staff is extra accommodating and answered whenever we had a question. We did rehearsal bbq in the barn and hair and make-up in the house with PLENTY of room. Highly recommend it, especially for a wedding at Geronimo Oaks!

4th of July week in Texas Hill County

We spent our yearly family vacation at The Retreat at Geronimo Oaks this year, there were between 13-15 of us at any given time plus those who came by for visiting & dinners. The location is perfect for all of the activities of the Texas Hill Country from tubing adventures, boating on Canyon Lake, visits to San Antonio & Austin as well as the activities in Fredericksburg, Greene & New Braunfels. The house was great with plenty of rooms & beds for all. Having the barn and covered area was a life saver for us during the sporadic rains. The kids were able to play out there while we cooked and socialized. This was a great week at a great place. The owners were very attentive to all of our needs. You won’t regret staying here. Peaceful and stress free wedding get away.

My husband and I booked this location after hearing about all its wonderfulness from another bride and groom who stayed following there wedding at Geronimo Oaks. Let me just say it was the BEST decision we made! The location was so close to the venue and as a couple who lives about 30 min away it was perfect for our wedding weekend. We were able to bring everything we needed up the day before the wedding and didn't have to worry about driving into SA to gather anything that was missing. We had stores within minutes of our stay and venue that made everything so easy. The house ya'll! IT WAS EMACULATE! So clean and fresh when we arrived, and nestled perfectly for some peaceful sleep. We had plenty of room for our wedding party and a few family members that stayed with us in anticipation of the coming weekend of fun. The beds were extremely comfortable and the restrooms were large! The kitchen is gorgeous and has space for all that stayed! We would give everything 10 stars if we could! Thank you to the owner for allowing us to have a great stay!

The barn and the views especially were worth every penny! Our rehearsal dinner was great!I loved that there were plenty of tables and chairs. Soooo many compliments on the barn. Loved the sliding doors. The house was ok, almost great . Not enough towels, kitchen utensils. We had the best time!!! Thank you so much!!

Cozy and spacious house

This was such a cute property and great for multiple families staying. We utilized this property for me and my husbands wedding. All of the brides maids stayed in the house with us to assists with the wedding and it was perfect. The host were great and even gave us an extra hour or so to check out. I would highly recommend staying at this house.

Family Wedding

Such a fabulous place to stay! Right around the corner from Geronimo Oaks wedding venue making it easy to set up/take down for the wedding. The party barn is also a perfect location for family and the wedding party to gather for a fun and relaxed rehearsal dinner! Highly recommend this property and the manager was extremely helpful!!

We stayed here and had our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. Lots of space for the dinner. Was super convenient having a place this close to the venue to stage all the stuff we needed. Highly recommend.

Hidden Gem!!!!

This place is awesome!! Rented it for my friends and family to attend my daughter’s wedding at Geronimo Oaks. The barn was perfect for the Rehearsal Dinner with plenty of room for a large gathering! Lots of space for everyone to sleep and relax without being on top of each other. The washer and dryer was a huge benefit and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. There are also plenty of bathrooms for a big group. We all truly enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect Compliment to the wedding venue near by. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!!

Nice home. Bigger than it looks from road. Perfect for wedding at nearby venue. Not a bad price if you split with others= roomy. One minor issue: need to bring hair dryer, shampoo and shower soap. Enjoyed the country life 👍

Perfect for Families

Rented the property for family to stay near the wedding venue. Pictures don’t do the place justice. Bedrooms are good sizes. Plenty of parking, amazing view. The grandkids roamed and explored every day and didn’t care that there were no TVs on The property. The party barn was amazing. It catches wonderful breezes and had tables, chairs, grill, bar etc. The sunrise views are fantastic. Huge closets (plenty of room to spread out a wedding dress train) and lots of storage. Great porches, especially off the primary bedroom. Guest cottage has a large sink and toilet bathroom but no shower or bath but that wasn’t an issue for us. Primary bedroom toilet and guest cottage toilet flushed the best. Kitchen had no towels or washcloths but luckily one family member with us brought some with them. We had 13 in the house but the house can sleep 16 with the full size bottom bunks. Appliances worked great. Plenty of skillets and pots were available, but more large bowls, cookie sheets/pizza pans, and utensils like rubber spatulas would have been helpful for guests that need to cook there. Beds were comfortable. No issues with Wi-Fi at all. Quiet area. Equally close to Seguin and New Braunfels. Perfect if you are using the wedding venue down the street. Highly recommend. We all hated to leave!

Wedding weekend

The house was clean and so cute! There was plenty of room for our whole family and some friends too when our daughter got married just down the street at Geronimo Oaks. The owners were so nice and made sure we had all we needed! Staff at Geronimo Oaks were so helpful too!
