A perfect view for a wedding
We took our first look photos here and it was fantastic. Easy access to the canal. Be prepared as cellular signal was weak. we enjoyed our early morning kayaking trip. We will definitely return.

Relaxing stay again place
Enjoyed the river view from the porch. Quiet and relaxing area close to Historic attractions. Had a fire in the chiminea by the deck and went fishing several times. The host, Cathy, was quick to respond to our questions. Definitely a place to be lazy and watch the deer and birds around the property.

Very convenient to Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry, and Charles Town. Also nice to just sit on the porch or near the river. Hubby caught a couple of nice catfish. Overall a nice place to stay.

No privacy
The property was nice, it does have ant issues but the owner was very responsive to my concerns. My only complaint/concern was that the property owner or family members literally camped in the backyard the entire time we were there. They even went to the extent of having a family reunion/party. It made the stay incredibly awkward. The family dogs kept coming down for visits and followed us into the house. If the owners wanted to use their property for the holidays, I honestly wish they would have just canceled our reservation.

Great place to unwind!
Was the perfect place to go and relax. Sitting on the front porch, enjoying the river view really made the time here special. It's a great location if visiting Harpers Ferry or Antietam. Looking forward to coming back again but want to spend more time next time.

Awesome location for nature lovers and families
Stayed Mother’s Day weekend with my husband and our twin 3 year old toddlers. What fun! We enjoyed fishing right in the river and soaked up all of the outside time we could. It rained one day but we were still able to enjoy the outside with the gazebo on the deck. Very close to harpers ferry for our day trip. Also - no cell service but instructions for setting up call and text capability on the wifi network. Bryan and Cathy were awesome and super responsive when we had questions. I hope to come back again to keep exploring!

Short trip for birthday gift
We booked this property because it was affordable and within driving distance to Leesburg, Virginia. While visiting we decided to also visit the Antietam battlefield. That was very interesting and informative. About the property, it was AMAZING! Nice and quiet location. No one around to bother us. Very CLEAN! When you ever the trailer, you totally forget your even in a trailer. Everything is updated and in great condition. We will definitely stay here again, if we're ever in the area. There is a guest book that you can sign, it's so interesting to read what everyone had to say. We didn't have a pen so we couldn't write in it. That was sad. So if you stay here, make sure you have a pen to be able to include the highlights of your trip!

Lovely respite
I booked Plum Lazy for a little “me time” for a couple nights. It’s adorable, clean, and beautifully situated. I didn’t have the best weather but still was able to sit out on the deck, float in the river, and be in nature. It’s a great home base for trips to Harpers Ferry and Shepherdstown, even for some of the Loudoun County wineries. I would definitely come back with my husband or even with another couple.

Stay in Harpers Ferry
Great view of the river and seating area. Book this place if you are a total outdoor person. However, the property smelled of mold and could be cleaner. Also the pictures could be a bit deceiving as the furniture was old and creaky. We booked for 2 night but left without staying the second night because we couldn’t sleep the first night as well.
