Host provided good directions/instructions on how to find it, as it's remote and tucked away. Extremely peaceful and quite. Great couples getaway and easy to get to different attractions in the area. Nice amenities in the cabin and well taken care of. ”

“Loved the location! It was a perfect halfway point for our destination. Enjoyed the front porch where we were able to sit, let the dog run and chase the ball and enjoy the view! Everything was clean and looked so nice! Bed was so so comfortable! Loved it! ”

“This little cabin was a perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway. Its close to pilot mountain and hanging rock. It was very clean, the bed was comfy, the outside fireplace was really nice and the mornings were so quiet. We will definitely be staying again if we are in the area!”

“This cabin is the place to stay if you are seeking a peaceful place to unwind in nature. We enjoyed the view and sounds from the river, the birds, and viewing the night sky. It is always a treat when there is a clear night and stars in every direction. We got lucky and were able to view some shooting stars! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and the owner was a good communicator. As females traveling alone, we felt safe. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It has been recently renovated and upgraded, and the moment you walk in you’re greeted with that perfect woodsy cabin smell. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern and comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities.William, the owner, was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond—he even brought me a crockpot so I could prepare a special birthday dinner for my son. “This cabin is set in a private remote area with 3 other cabins. Construction is beautiful and layout easy for handicapped people. The owner encouraged us to invite family over as the owners provide a firepit and wood. Very clean and quiet. I highly recommend Riversong cabins to everyone needing a little respite from the world. Remote but close enough to stores and restaurants if needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Beautiful mountain home. Lots of room - and well-furnished. Was a little hard to find. Description on Vrbo implies that it’s near downtown Mount Airy but it’s actually 15 minutes from there. We would definitely stay there again!”

“The house was exactly as noted and the host was incredible. My only issue was the location, it is very hard to get to at night and I would advice checking in during daylight hours. It is a very long private road with forks and tricky turns that are easily missed in the dark. I would stay here again and recommend highly to others.”
