Breakfast was great.

Good motel, but poor breakfast menu and no good Coffee in the morning, and clean room

I've stayed at this property for the past 15 years. Although this property has always been my firstchoice, and even recommending it as recently as ladt month, I will not return. I appreciate the check-out conversation this morning (8/13/26). The clerk was professional, easy to talk to, and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The AC system worked well. And I appreciated a quality TV with free channels. The rest is down hill. When I arrived at 6:30 PM on 8/12/26, another guest and I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone was there to help. No welcoming comment or apology. There was no welcoming comment or apology. When I questioned the rate - more than what I was quoted when I booked through Hotels.com, the woman flatly said she couldn't help me with a 3rd party reservation. After a follow-up, she again said it wasn't her issue she could help with. I didn't have a printout copy of my reservation. I finally stopped her repeated comments by saying I wasn't going to argue with her. Without stating a room preference, she gave me Room 230 which is at the end of the hall from the elevator, directly across the hall from the maintenance shed. I refer to it this way, because the door was left open, showing the equivalent of a disaster garage. When I opened the door I was startled to see a young man in my room, with no credentials. The room was dark, and he said he was the mtc man fixing a spill. Clearly sleeping in my room. Very didturbing!
