“What a lovely Chalet! This was a perfect spot for a little get away for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and all of the outside lounging areas. There were only two of us, so as far as the beds go I can only comment on the mater bed. Slept great and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for grilling out on the gas grill. What a great place in a convenient location. Would highly recommend! “Adorable A-frame cottage nestled on the side of a mountain, surrounded by trees and rhododendrons. The cottage is very clean and nicely outfitted from decor to amenities. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and responsive to any requests or questions. Definitely look forward to another stay in Highlands!”

“The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for everyone. The pool table was a huge hit, played lots of games. We came for the truck meet in Maggie Valley, the house was only 20 minutes away, and that is only because we had to go down the mountain to get downtown, but it was worth it for the incredible views. I do feel like there are some things that should be addressed before renting out again!! 1 when the toilet upstairs is flushed and someone is in shower downstairs they get scolded… 2 the upstairs balcony is rotten and could be safety problem.. The cat museum was a must try, the little shops were filled with beautiful one of a kind items, the restaurants were all very good. “The driveway was an adventure, steep but you've just gotta commit and go for it!! All wheel drive vehicles did best but front wheel drive did fine. Everyone in the group absolutely loved the house and talked about going back!! The porch was the best for spending time together and enjoying the view. Plenty of room for a large group not to feel cramped.”
