Our stay began horribly waiting in line for more than 40 minutes just to check in after driving 4 hours from California. Apparently, new rules allow for only one person to wait in line at the check in desk. Well, I had no one to talk with while I waited. My wife had to go find a seat to wait for me. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic which kind of eased the pain a bit. But that did not last long. We had to wait in yet another line to board the elevator. At least the wait was not a lonely one. My wife and I talked about the next time we are NOT going to pick this property again. I used to love this property when it was the Hilton Int'l. I stayed here several times. We were assigned to a high floor so that was nice. I hated the fact that I had to pay for parking when it is free at Virgin Hotel. So there is another reason for picking this property again. We saw Air Supply in Concert which made the above mentioned situation with checking and parking a bit tolerable. We patronized the Vinyl record store and Tacos Locos, that was nice. Our room was comfortable and the temperature was excellent. The house maids, except for one, were approachable and nice. Other than that, our stay was ok. However, with all the choices on and off the strip, this place is no longer for me. Thanks for your hospitality anyway.
