Perfect for two + fur babies

Unit was clean and perfect size for 2 people. Loved that we were able to take our fur babies with us. Walls are a little thin so you can hear people upstairs above unit but not too bad. Great location access to highway and all the downtown spots. Very accommodating and responsive host.

Okay stay

My partner and I stayed here for four nights. We enjoyed the location's closeness to downtown/Central Avenue and ability to walk there.The property itself is okay. It's a bit of a cobbled together building. Parking in the adjacent lot is super convenient but the cigarette butts all over the ground were disgusting.The inside itself is thoughtfully styled and was cleaned well when we arrived. The bed was decently comfortable; I think was memory foam. Tiny seating area is okay, though don't bump your leg. We did encounter a cockroach and a poor lost gecko, both of whom ran under the fridge. Not ideal, but it is Florida I guess.The bathroom was a tiny, awkward space with an extremely loud fan. Not a lot of storage. Shower tiles need deep cleaning, but the fixtures were nice. Sink water pressure was very low.The kitchen was okay. It was nice to have a newer stove and range to make some food. But the lighting was awful and it was lacking amenities, such as a towel/drying rack, cutting board, and toaster. It's a bit small to do anything meaningful.You will interact with the AI bot if you send a message to the host, which is annoying because it does not understand context. Upon checkout, we were instructed to follow the guide in the room, but there was none. When I tried to ask it about check out procedures, it gave unhelpful answers.Overall, okay stay. There's probably better places around, but it works in a pinch.

Surprise

I booked this for 4 nights without seeing anything but interior photos with no possible refund. It was most likely that I was traveling for a wedding without my wife so I wasn’t worried. I don’t want to say it’s a terrible place. It’s not. If I was 21 year old male visiting that needed a place to stay, it’d be fine. But for a 55 year old traveling with his wife for a wedding it was less than ideal. The area might have been convenient for driving but definitely not for taking a stroll. Just a couple blocks away the local sheriffs in many, many vehicles were rounding up the homeless. The parking lot is a yard of sand and grass and trucks. But it is free. The inside seemed clean but my wife found hairs in and around the shower. We only got 2 sets of towels for the long stay and the AI system was not encouraging for help. There were no window treatments on the kitchen door and the window looked like it had been recently repaired. I had to hang my jacket over the door and window. There were no dressers to place clothes and nowhere to even set suitcases down while unpacking. But even if we had unpacked there was no place for the clothes. No hangers. We had to go buy some. On the morning after the first night we checked out with no chance of a refund. We are not rich so this hurts but we just couldn’t stay.The landlord human did reach out to us after we left and appeared interested in improving the place so that’s a plus. Don’t be fooled by “stylish studio.”

Very odd experience…

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a very odd experience. First off, the check in did not go smoothly. I sent a message to the host (which I have now learned, it’s not an actual person responding to messages, it’s AI), Where I was told to call a number to get the check in information but it took about 3 times calling the number provided to get someone to answer. We received the information after I paid an extra 20 for early check in. We got to the room and it was a good size, pretty clean, looked like the pictures, etc., everything was good until we looked at the shower, there was a cockroach in there. We understand that cockroaches are common in Florida and we weren’t really phased by it at first, we got rid of it and went on with our day. Little did we know this was not going to stop. We had a cockroach every day/night and then when I contacted the host, the generated message only apologized and that was it. I wasn’t expecting money back or anything but I was at least expecting a human to be a little concerned about the cockroach issue. Another thing about this property is that I specifically asked if there was a way of requesting additional items beforehand for example like toilet paper / towels. I was informed that they were able to do that during our stay. When I would message about these items they said they are unable to accommodate. Other than the communication issue and the insect issue I truly do think this place could be good. Thanks :)
