Remote escape

We had a large group to celebrate Father's Day. There was plenty of room for all of us and for our vehicles too. The river is RIGHT there. We did some fishing (with limited success) and played in the water. The large back porch wasGreat for our games of trivia pusuit. Kitchen was great. The property didn't provide a lighter to light the firepit logs, so bring your own. The kitchen trout and the family room boat were great additions. The only less than positive thing i should add is the seating situation. We didnt find a comfortable seat in the house. It all looked great, but there were minor issues with all of them. Having said that, you still should not hesitat to book this cabin. Everyone will love it.

Perfect escape

This cabin was the perfect escape for my family. We enjoyed fishing, hiking, and sitting on the pirch swing listening the the river flowing and the bird singing. It was so peaceful! Definitely way away from any town so I was glad we took advice and brought groceries with us. We had everything we need to cook at the cabin and enjoy family time.

Wonderful cozy yet spacious cabin

Perfect weekend getaway spot with our college aged kids and dog. The weather was cold and we managed to do one hike in the sleet but we mostly had fun staying in and cooking and spending time together. Would definitely come back in the summer and try some hikes.

Mountain Oasis

This was a great experience. The location along the creek and the sound of the rippling water was amazing. The screened back porch with a swing was so relaxing. Super clean with unique decor. The owners were very accommodating. If honest when we pulled up the outside gave me a bit of pause but once inside there was no hesitation. Exactly what my family wanted.

Left early

Property was great but the neighbor came over Thursday morning and told us we should evacuate because a wall of water will be coming down the mountain. We did leave around 12 noon on Thursday unfortunately. A little scared of staying.

Beautiful location

Check in was very easy. House was perfect for our group. Location right on the river was amazing and beautiful. Great hiking close by and the kids loved playing in the water during the week and water tubing down the river. If you want a vacation away from everyday work and kids activities this is the perfect place to stay.

Great family property by the river

We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed the property. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Our favorite part was sitting on the screened porch by the river. Really appreciated the dog bowls and kid plates/utensils. Owner was quick to respond. Just make to sure to bring your groceries as the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away.

Tranquil

This cabin by the Tocooa River was decorated so modern and cute . The owners were a pleasure and the cabin has everything you need - just bring your own groceries and river tubes / fishing poles . Ola wonderful girls weekend !

The perfect getaway

The house is so comfortable and great for a family. Everything needed was there. It is exactly as presented in pictures except even closer to the beautiful river! Just a wonderful experience all the way around. They even had a Christmas tree and stockings. We would love to go back in the summer.
