The room was what I expected for the price being so low in the middle of slc. The shower was partly broken as half the water came out the faucet instead of the shower part. I did however sleep well in the bed, and I covered up the city noises with a box fan noise on my phone. My heat/cooling unit smelled pretty bad when turned on, but the room wasn’t that cold so it was fine. No extra blankets, but plenty of pillows for two people. Coffee maker was in the bathroom. Light switches for my main room didn’t seem to be connected to anything, as I had to turn on the lamps to see anything. Several hangers—but the pants hanger was broken when I got there. Front desk staff were friendly and kind, and I didn’t have any issues with parking.
I would recommend this place if you aren’t a clean freak, are okay with unsecured parking, city noise, and without a bunch of insulation.
I would stay here again in a pinch.
