Family/Friends Getaway On The Brazos River

Enjoy the vacation of a lifetime at CABANA SHORES on the peaceful and relaxing Brazos River. This vacation home features spacious guest accommodations and an outstanding riverfront experience with outdoor entertainment area which is for guest use only. The outdoor entertainment area features a fire pit, trampoline , complete outdoor kitchen, bathroom, outdoor shower, hot tub, ping pong, and regulation size horse shoe and washer pits. There is also an audio system with an iPod docking station and built-in TV. Propane heaters will be provided in the winter, upon request.

There is an amazing sand beach at the waters edge, where kids can swim or play all day. The large wooded (2+ acre) lot provides plenty of shade to sit and watch the boats go by. Or drive your boat up on the sandy shore after enjoying a full day of glass smooth water.

The 2006 manufactured home features 5 spacious bedrooms, sleeping up to 14 people maximum. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room features a new 55" 4K TV with DirecTV. The master bedroom and outdoor cabana also have a TV. The fireplace room and two other guest bedrooms also have flat screen televisions. High speed internet is available for those who have to send a last minute email to the work they left behind.

The wrap-around multi-level deck offers many opportunities to dine, socialize, or watch wildlife.

The bedrooms consist of a master bedroom, en suite, with a queen size bed. The master bathroom feature has been updated with bright and open shower with granite counter tops. There are two other bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. There is a "twin room" with 3 twin beds. Two of the twin beds can be pushed together to create a king sized bed. The adaptor is in the closet. The room off living room has bunk bed (full bottom/twin top) and has a twin daybed with twin trundle.

The views at CABANA SHORES are breathtaking, whether it is stargazing at night or watching the sun come up with a cup of warm coffee off of the back deck of the home. This is the ultimate retreat where you can unwind and let go of life's worries.

Amazing experience!
We had our Gymnastics Team Retreat! This place was perfect! The water was shallow enough so the kids could enjoy it without me worrying about them! They LOVED the outdoor games, canoe, and kayaks! There was more than enough room for a large group! We are already planning our return!

Didn’t expect to see so many spiders/wasps but the location was so beautiful!
This place gave us what we were expecting to have. To create memories and have our mom feel very loved and valued on her birthday trip. The house was so much better in person. Very clean. Anything we needed it was available. Very roomy. We have been to lake house’s before and spiders, insects are expected but the porch in the front and back were covered in webs. Wasps nest were everywhere in the back porch. The good thing we checked everything out to keep the kids away and avoid any ER visits. That was pretty much the down part of the trip. I’m sure having pest control come out more often than normal it would make that issue not be such a big issue. Of course we were already there and had to make the best of it and we did. We cooked on the grill on the porch and it was very dirty and needed a major deep clean and when my brother opened the bottom doors to the grill to turn on the propane tank there was a wasp nest right under. We managed to solve the issues and moved on with our plans. The cabana was a total hit. The kids loved all the things to do as well as the adults with the convenience of having a grill and a fridge there. Plus a bathroom and small shower to avoid going up to the house each time. The fans helped with the humidity/heat and the Bluetooth speakers were fantastic! We would love to go back and spend more days out there but only if the spiders/wasps were under controlled. Over all we were thankful for unforgettable memories we got to create❤

FABULOUS - Will come again
Our family stayed the weekend at Cabana Shores to celebrate a graduation from Tarleton. Everyone absolutely loved it. Our active family enjoyed all the outdoor amenities ... fishing, kayaks, canoe, putting green, horseshoes, trampoline, ping pong, etc. We spent all our time outside under the cabana, even in the rain. The host was very responsive to my questions and the home was very clean and comfortable. Please don't let the fact that it's a manufactured home deter your reservation; it is a very nice property. For the money, you will not find a more cozy and fun place to stay. We will definitely be staying again.

Great family atmosphere and good vibes!
This property had everything on our check list for our group of 10, ages 7-38. The layout of the rooms and number of beds was perfect so everyone was comfortable and not cramped. The house felt very homey, and not dated. Our kids said all weekend that it felt like home! There is so much to do, but the vibe is very relaxed. What a great place to have fun and make memories and not be stressed at all! There aren’t a lot of food options close by, but there are two full kitchens on the property and a grill. My only caveat for this property was that we had a couple appliance issues, but it didn’t affect our stay much. Overall an amazing place to stay! My only caveat for this property

My group really enjoyed our stay at Cabana Shores! We only wished we could’ve had more time to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities. A beautiful setting on the Brazos River. Gorgeous sunsets & outdoor living made this stay so memorable! Communication with our hostess was a breeze & we will definitely rebook if this property is available for our next gathering. Ample parking & space to spread out made this property stand out to us. We used the cabana as much as possible! The Bluetooth sound system had us enjoying our playlist music while spending time in the hot tub and taking in the views of the river. A true vacation atmosphere!!! Recommend to all!

This was our third stay at Cabana Shores and as usual we had a great experience. Everything is seamless in terms of process and well-equipped in terms of everything else. I forgot my crockpot but they had one! We love the set up and the space inside. The new bathroom is a great addition. We’ll be back next year!

Used property for ourselves, friends and family for 3 nights. Very comfortable, excellent climate control. And a really great place for everybody coming to the Saturday night wedding to visit and sit around a while both inside and out. Overnighters varied from 8-12 people and showers, hot water plenty and i could see would have been a great place to entertain kids if also present. Hosts are VERY easy to talk with and I really did not see any negatives. Would i use this place again ? Yes.

Best Vacation Ever
Booked this property for our 40th wedding anniversary so that we could spend a week with our children and grandchildren. We were a group of 14 people between the ages of 5 and 60. We had a great time the facility was well equipped and accommodated our family very well. Everybody was able to find activities to do on the property that was to their interest, nobody got bored. We had family members with food allergies so the 2 kitchens was a bonus. I have family members that live in the area and they liked our setting so well that we had 3 nights where they came and ate with us at the outdoor kitchen facility and enjoyed the river view. The hosts were very attentive and made sure that our stay was very enjoyable.

Mixed feelings on this place. To begin, the property was beautiful and it was a great location. Being next to the water was a nice perk. The owners of the property/ listing agents were very nice. The inside of the house was clean, no trash, freshly made beds, plenty of kitchen utensils, games, tvs, etc. Not much else I can say was positive. When we arrived, at 3pm so we weren’t early, there were people on the property. My husband and I were hesitant because you just never know. We left to get food, (maybe the cleaners ran behind) and when we got back the people were still there. One of the gentlemen finally came up and told us they were running behind because the AC was broken and they were trying to fix it. Fine, I get that, but communication would have been nice. The owners told me the maintenance people were having phone problems so they didn’t know what was going on, which is unfortunate, but shouldn’t be on the guest to figure out. Next, the AC never got fixed. They promised to send a 24 hour AC person, they never came. (We stayed Friday to Monday). On Saturday, someone else came to fix the AC and he couldn’t. On Sunday, an electrician some how got sent out and he let out all the Freon in a cloud of white. Then, an AC repair man finally arrived, and let us know the compressor blew and the Freon was empty so there would be no AC anytime soon. The weather wasn’t bad, but it got hot and humid in the house. It was difficult to open windows because there are no screens and the bugs made themselves at home. The entire time, the owners still had no communication so I was the middle man. It was a hot and miserable couple days in the house so we stayed outside most the time. Lastly, regarding the house, the smoke detectors had been disconnected. Moving on to outside. The cabana was nice, but the counters were sticky and gross. The fridge was hot and never ran properly so we had to go back and forth to the house for food and drinks. The spa worked nicely but when we arrived the first day there were cigarette butts floating in the water and the chlorine floater was empty. Overall, I wanted to be happy but too many things went wrong and not enough effort was put into fixing the AC. A refund/ discount would have been appreciated. If these things can be fixed this place has amazing potential.

We came here with 2 families and it was perfect for everyone. The kids really enjoyed playing on the playground and down by the river and it was so peaceful. The main house itself was very well laid out with plenty of plates, cutlery, serving dishes for family style dinners. The cabana and fire pit was so amazing for the cooler evenings and catching up with friends. Great experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
