"This is a new hotel so it's all bright and shiny for visitors. We had a good experience, comfy bed, good breakfast. There were a few minor things that don't detract but the biggest thing for us was that there were smokers, both cigarettes & pot, at every doorway so there was no way to escape the smell or carrying it with you into your room. With very young girls working the desk at night I don't see any way of having the no smoking signs enforced. At least when we were there it was all grown men lingering at both doorways. "

"Overall a good experience. Friendly staff but Only one employee to man front desk and take and cook breakfast orders. Not fair to employees or guests. Breakfast is not free and is very limited, but good if you are willing to wait. "

"The rooms are spotless. The staff is always friendly, helpful; just a pleasure to deal with. The location is perfect, around the corner from Beale St. and a short walk to the river. We stay here every time we come to Memphis."
