"Pine Grove was super clean and comfortable, but what really set this place apart was the staff. Everyone seemed to take great pride in the resort -- they were so friendly and kind. One morning, we were on the way to the car and a staff person walked by carrying a long board, smiling broadly, and said, "time to go rescue a baby racoon!". Sure enough, a baby racoon was stuck in a dumpster. My husband and I just looked at each other like "is this for REAL?" I think the all the staff really love working there! "

"This hotel has charm, with fireplaces in the rooms and a beautiful log and stone wall in the breakfast area. There is also outdoor seating and a great outdoor pool. It is clean and very well maintained. Many of the guests return here each year and are very friendly. There are cute shops right by the hotel and a small craft market. It is a calm quiet area, right across from an orchard, but still close to Fish Creek. I would definitely stay again. This hotel made our Door County trip extra special. "

Our room was very clean, and the air conditioner was working great, Friendly lady at the front desk who checked us in explained where everything was and which door was closest to our room.The outside curb appeal needs some attention/work, mostly the areas next to the building."
