The staff at this hotel are amazing. Very helpful and really friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The room we had was beautiful and always clean. We had a turndown each night with a little surprise that was left for us like chocolate, hot chocolate etc. This is a must hotel if you are staying in Franschhoek. Great location also.

Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility.

The property is excellent and well maintained throughout. The staff cannot be nicer and were a joy to be around. Heated floors in the bathroom are just one of the smaller fine touches. Small but enough selection for breakfast.

This is truly one of the best places I’ve stayed! Amazingly beautiful property with fantastic staff and within walking distance to shopping and dining options and even to a few wineries. Lovely ambience and homey feeling but very upscale. I fully recommend.
