Flight Attendants on flight BA 218 were great and funny

Display screens were very fuzzy and difficult to view a movie.

Vegetarian selection tasted off. Entertainment pretty outdated and very old equipment

Nov 5, 2018

The plane was an older 747 with very old entertainment system with about a 5 inch screen with very limited movies. A bit disappointed for a long haul flight, but the food was reallly good and the seat was comfortable!

No plugins for electronics - disappointed

I was surprised at how old the aircraft was. The entertainment was old and choppy and the seat didn’t recline. It’s been many many years since I’ve flown on a plane this old with BA :(

The trip seemed shorter than actual elapsed time.

Transfer at London Heathrow was a nightmare. It took an hour to get through security. We had to get our liquids out quite some time before we got to security. Even had to carry them up the escalator in addition to our other items. A lot of standing around while someone checked our liquids. Good grief. Then when I checked my flight it was delayed. I asked an airport worker about it and was told the gate # wouldn’t post until an hour before the flight. So, you had to keep checking. People were lined up along the walls in wheelchairs and in the few seats there was, waiting. I found some seating and I just happened to be sitting by gate A7 so I heard the girl making an announcement. I couldn’t really understand her but when I looked at the gate info I saw it was my flight. Several people came last minute saying the gate had just been posted. We boarded about 10 minutes later. What an awful experience. Will be my last time on British Airways or any airline going through Heathrow. I will fly direct and pay more before I do this again.
