We recently stayed at Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel Antwerp and overall had a really great experience. The location is excellent—super convenient for getting around—and the room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Everything from check-in to the facilities met our expectations.
However, there was one interaction that left a slightly sour note. When I approached reception to ask for a recommendation on where to have mussels (as it’s something Belgium is well known for), the staff member directed me to a Chinese restaurant instead. I found this response a bit surprising and, if I’m honest, it didn’t sit quite right with me.
I may be overthinking it, but it would have been more helpful (and appropriate) to be recommended a local Belgian spot, especially when specifically asking for a traditional dish.
That aside, the rest of our stay was lovely, and the hotel itself is a great base for exploring Antwerp.

Very stylish hotel in the perfect location in Brussels. Close to the city centre with lots of great food options and shopping close by. Room was surprisingly spacious and had nice big shower. Would definitely stay here again. Mini fridge in room with coffee maker and each floor had a water dispenser.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in dit hotel. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen, wat meteen voor een warm gevoel zorgde. De kamer was netjes, comfortabel en duidelijk redelijk recent vernieuwd. De ligging is bovendien heel praktisch, vlakbij de verbindingswegen. Ook de prijs viel heel goed mee voor wat dit hotel te bieden heeft. Wij zouden hier zeker opnieuw verblijven en raden het hotel absoluut aan.

Very friendly staff here especially the older gentleman that checked us in and later worked in their lounge. The room was clean, large, and very elegant looking. Location was excellent and we had a fantastic view of the canal and 5 min to the main square. I’d definitely stay here again!
