Lovely staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Cleaners did knock on the door for service at 8am which was a tad too early for my liking. Gym was a little warm but otherwise ok.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (205 reviews)
This is a great hotel. Our river view room was spectacular. The staff were friendly. The overall surroundings are brilliant, well maintained, and we saw elephants having lunch in the neighbouring national park from a few feet away (through an electric fence!). It's well located to get into Livingstone and you really can't beat staying right on the banks of the Zambezi.
The pool is nice, if slightly smaller than expected, and not heated. The service was sometimes slow. Food was good, not exceptional. But overall, a very positive experience and I'd stay here again if we return to Livingstone.

We arrived later in evening. Property was poorly lit. The paths to our room hardly had any lighting. During the night the power kept going out. The next morning,we went to get breakfast before we left for the day. The information in the room says 6:30 am. They wouldn't let me sit in the room. Breakfast wasn't being put out when we left at 7:15 am. Friday, we were gone most of the morning and our room had no clean towels and wasn't cleaned. We had to go and ask. It was questionable if we were going to get hit water. Sometimes we did and sometimes we didn't. Looks like the property is struggling. I hope they get it together, it could be a hidden jewel. However we will be coming again and will choose another place.
