The townhome was beautiful and it was walking distance to everything we needed. There was plenty of room for my family of four to spread out and have our own spaces. The only thing I would complain about is the directions to check in sent us to the wrong location.

Check in was easy with a gift bag containing coffee and candy. The pool and hot tub areas are a special bonus. There are two free buses that pick you up at the front door and take you to downtown Vail. The buses run every 20 minutes in most cases. The kitchen was well stocked and housekeeping has an extensive list of appliances to borrow from Crock-Pots to waffle irons. The lobby area has lemon slushies coffee machine and a variety of books, games and puzzles to borrow. They also provide Internet, computer and printer. There is an underground parking lot and City Market and Safeway are close by.

Clean, spacious 2 bed with all amenities, individual covered garage space and great location. Just make sure to check a/c during booking time as some of the units do not come with it.

Great hotel with fantastic historic rooms and top notch amenities and staff.

An incredibly beautiful property with old world charm. They meet the highest of standards for exceptional service and hospitality. Also very family welcoming with a range of experiences and activities.

Sonnenalp was absolutely amazing. The room was spectacular and the staff went above and beyond. Our room was immaculately maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were multiple pillow options so you could find one that worked for you. The pool area was really nice and I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and pool. We didn’t use the spa while we were there. There are a lot of nearby restaurants to enjoy within a 5 minute walk. Parking at the hotel is $55/day in September 2026 and is valet only. There is no street parking in the area, but there is a parking garage about 5 minutes away if you don’t want to park at the hotel. Breakfast is not included in the daily rate, there are several options nearby. The hotel restaurant is convenient but a little pricey. I highly recommend this hotel and I will absolutely be returning.

Breakfast situation horrible

Enjoyed my stay here. The location is ideal. close to everything and easy access to I-70 The Breakfast was great! (I wish it started earlier say 6:30 am) The Staff was so kind and helpful! The only thing I would add would be option for blackout curtains on the window near the parking lot. There is a lot of light coming in- Ty for your consideration on this.

Love it here. Very clean, beautiful views. Would have given it 5 stars if there was any kind of emergency lighting when the power goes out. Power company decided to cut power off for maintenance about the time we was walking up the steps. Pitch black.

Very reasonably priced! Very beautiful and clean facility! We will be back!
