Lovely place to stay. Recommend to anyone.

outdated decor, in need of renovation. waaaay too busy, hundreds of people trying to use the pool/sauna

The hotel is in a good location, and is more classic looking than modern. The pools are ok, i don’t think the saunas worked, the mud treatment and massage was a good experience. The staff however don’t speak much English, at the reception they were not helpful and often had attitude instead of guiding. There was only person, who actually worked at the bar, i don’t remember his name, but was helpful, and even helped us with the room set up on the first night. I warn anyone who wants to travel during summer: Do Not Expect a good air conditioning in the rooms or even the lobby area. Breakfast was excellent.

What a lovely hotel, staff so lovely & friendly .

We have travelled the world (including most of Italia) and we had great expectations for the Bristol Buja on our first trip to Abano Terme. However, the problems started early when we arrived after a long drive by car from the Rome airport. Where I literally watched the Porter run and hide when he saw that we had heavy luggage to unload. Which my wife and I then had to manage alone upon arrival, and then again on check-out! And it continued from there all downhill. Including the very un-friendly attitudes at reception. Acting as if our business was a distraction from their more important personal lives. Never once did we receive a pleasant hello or even buongiorno as we came and went. Not to mention that they claim to be Pet Friendly, totally false. Only if our 5kg well-behaved dog stayed isolated in the room with us! Finishing up this disaster, was our last morning. First, the breakfast ended 45 minutes early and the selection & service was limited. Then at a surprise required early check-out, it was shocking to see that the lobby had already been closed and the furniture all covered in sheets! Sadly, the only things positive about this aging "fake" 5 Star hotel were the women at the pool bar and lobby bar. Plus the Manager's very professional efforts to try and remedy the many problems we had at the hotel and in particular at the Spa. We sincerely appreciated his efforts. While Abano Terme was a great and elegant city, the Bristol Buja was a gigantic disappointment.

Good location by the water bus stop on the Grand Canal and thankfully a bit away from the crowds of St. Marco district, which is easy 10-minute walk away. Big room, marble-everywhere bathroom, comfortable bed, strong AC, BUT the carpet in room 101 should have been replaced 10 years ago. Guessing it used be white, but now it is gray-ish and covered in dark stains all over. Oddly, a porter entered the room "to check the minibar inventory" while we were in the room resting in the afternoon. Why the inventory count was not done during the cleaning earlier in the day??... Not a 5-star hotel category.

Stunning hotel and the spa and pools were truly incredible..... Found out the waters flow for 25 years underground from the Alps and have medicinal healing abilities for joints and aging and so much more

The hotel has a great location if you’re looking for St Mark’s square proximity. Breakfast was nice. Just be aware the hotel has an annex and you may end up there. You leave the hotel, go down a short alley, through a small courtyard to their annex building. The room was ok but we would have preferred the main building. Breakfast is in the real hotel. Also, for those who care, English language tv is scarce and inconsistent.
